Toika Rug Shuttle 70cm Toika shuttles are made from carefully selected birch and finished with a clear water based varnish. Toika make 5 sizes of boat shuttle so there are options for all weaving widths. The shuttles are shaped to fit nicely in the hand to throw and catch. The sides of the shuttle have room for plenty of weft, and the shape moves smoothly through the shed with nothing to catch the warp threads. Suitable for all types of rug weft in all thicknesses from rags to T-shirt yarn and wool. Using three shuttles at once means you can get a lovely neat edge on your rug. This length of shuttle has to be sent by Parcel Force but a yarn order can be added or you are always welcome to call and collect.
