Siru Rigid Heddle Loom

The Toika Siru Rigid Heddle Loom has a weaving width of 40cm.

Siru is made with metal beams and pawls from beautiful Finnish Birch Plywood making a rigid heddle loom that is strong and attractive. Siru looks different and she is different!

• Equipped to use two heddles if required, the strong metal beams and pawls mean tension is never a problem.
• The design of the loom means that the heddle sits firmly whether in the up, down or neutral position.
• Currently offered in a 40cm (16 inch) weaving width with an option of heddles in sizes 30, 40 or 50 dent per 10cm, (8.10 or 12.5 ends per inch). Please let us know which size heddle you would like to be included with your loom in the notes box at the checkout.

Siru arrives flat packed and can be built straight out of the box or painted, polished, varnished or stained if you prefer. Photographic instructions on building and using your loom are included.  We will also supply  a threading and heddle hook and some yarn for your first project.

Alternatively we can build your loom and offer a short session on setting it up if you are able to visit us at our base in the Lutterworth Leicestershire.
