Toika Warping Mill

Description

These varnished warping mills have a sturdy stand with adjustable legs and metal stays to ensure stability. Ball bearings ensure smooth rotation. The lease pegs can be locked into position at any point on the sides to ensure an exact warp length. The wooden frame can be detached for storage if required.

Lovingly called “The Beast” by many who own them, Toika warping mills are probably the undisputed king of their class.  They are super strong;  a look at the chart below will give you an indication of just how sturdy and capable of winding long warps they are.  Two sizes are available. We do sometimes have them in stock but because of the size and weight of these warping mills they are for collection only. Otherwise they are delivered directly to the customer from the factory in Finland.  We do have one available to view and try in the Toika Studio at our base in Leicestershire, please get in touch if you would like to arrange a visit.
