Toika Simple Closed Bottom Shuttle 32cm Toika shuttles are made from carefully selected birch and finished with a clear varnish. This shuttle has straight rather than curved ends.With a closed bottom and smooth finish the shuttle is light to use and travels quickly across the warp. This version measures 32cm in length and is 2.5cm deep (12 5/8th” x 1″) deep. The spindle will take up to a 12cm cardboard pirn, homemade paper spools or most makes of manufactured plastic bobbins. It weighs 120g and is shaped to fit nicely in the hand to throw and catch.
